Super Things To Do During Super Bowl Week In NYC-NJ

So you want to get in the Super Bowl Week action but not sure if you want to pay for a game ticket?

Are you ready for some star-gazing?
Fans have lots of ways to see former or current NFL players and celebrities around town before the big game.

Super Bowl Media Day kicks off the star-gazing on January 28 at Prudential Center from 10:30am to about 1pm. Essentially fans get to sit in the stands and see Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman and the rest of the players answer lots of football-related, and also not football-related, questions. At Caesar’s Atlantic City, you can listen to Barry Sanders and Joe Montana talk Super Bowl on Feb. 2.

Then also you have the well-talked about Super Bowl parties. There are many but this is a good summation of the most high-profile parties, including a Maxim Party hosted by Kendrick Lamar and a Taste of the NFL event in Brooklyn.

Super laughs scheduled all week
Similar to NBA All Star Weekend, comedy shows always are a big hit. The best two shows are both in Newark, N.J. with Adrien Peterson’s All Pros of Comedy show with Chris Tucker headlining two shows at NJPAC on January 31 and Shaquille O’Neal presents All Star Comedy Jam featuring D.L. Hughley, Earthquake and Tony Roberts at Symphony Hall on February 1.

In New York City, the Comedy Kickoff at Beacon Theater features Sommore, Bruce Bruce and Arnez J on February 1, while Marlon and Shawn Wayans hit Carolines all weekend.
