November 4, 2018
The Knicks and Nets are down. The Sixers are certainly up. But regardless of how your home team is expected to do, all the NBA’s best will pay a visit.
Here is a quick overview of the hottest games for each area team:
Brooklyn Nets | New York Knicks | Philadelphia 76ers
New York Knicks:

With Kristaps Porzingis being injured for possibly the entire season, this is rebuilding year for sure. The stage is set for Enes Kanter, Kevin Knox, Mario Hezonja and Tim Hardaway, Jr. among others to show what they got on the court.
New York gets tested early on with Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and the rest of the world champion Golden State on October 26 and Victor Oladipo and the Indiana Pacers on Halloween.
The Knicks host Anthony Davis and the New Orleans Pelicans on Thanksgiving weekend, November 23 then play Giannis Antetokounmpo and the hot Milwaukee Bucks twice in December – on December 1 and on Christmas Day, December 25.
Turning to division rivals, the Knicks host Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers twice – on Sunday, January 13 and Wednesday, February 13. New York also hosts Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, February 9 and Wednesday, March 28. The Subway Series visits The Garden twice – on Monday, October 29 and Saturday, December 8. Finally, Kyrie Irving and the super-talented Boston Celtics visit NYC on Saturday, October 20 and Friday, February 1.
Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony now wears a Houston Rockets uniform. He along with The Beard and CP3 will visit MSG on Wednesday, January 23. Finally, Lebron James and his Los Angeles Lakers will play the Knicks in New York on Sunday, March 17 at 12 noon.

If these post-Process Sixers go far into the playoffs or even the NBA Finals, Young stars Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid and Markelle Fultz will be the core that makes that happen. Because of the excitement in Philly, most games will be packed, especially when the league’s best come to the City of Brotherly Love.
Philly’s toughest division foes visit throughout the season. The Sixers face Kawhi Leonard and the Toronto Raptors on Saturday, December 22 and Tuesday, February 5. The hated Boston Celtics – like the Raptors a team in Philly’s way to win a division or conference title – visit twice, on Tuesday, February 12 and Wednesday, March 20.
Another Eastern Conference foe, Greek Freak’s Milwaukee Bucks, come to Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, April 4.
Coming from the West, James Harden and the Houston Rockets visit Philly on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 21. Lebron James’ Los Angeles Lakers will make a visit to South Philly for a nationally televised game on Sunday, February 10. Then the World Champion Golden State Warriors on Saturday, March 2.
Brooklyn Nets:

The Nets may have an uphill climb for a playoff spot, but Brooklyn has an intriguing young roster with guards like Caris Levert and D’Angelo Russell plus frontcourt staples Jarrett Allen and Kenneth Faried.
Always the less expensive option to see the Knicks and the NBA’s best in New York City, the Nets host their crosstown rivals on Friday, October 19 and on Friday, January 25. The Philadelphia 76ers visit BK on Sunday, November 4 and Sunday, November 25. The Toronto Raptors come to Brooklyn on Friday, December 7 and Wednesday, April 3. The Boston Celtics visit Barclays Center on Monday, January 14 and Saturday, March 30.
The best of the West visit early – on Sunday, October 28 (Golden State), Friday, November 2 (Houston), Wednesday, December 5 (Oklahoma City) and Tuesday, December 18 (Los Angeles Lakers).
