The Reggaeton Capital Of The World: June 8 in Nueva York
March 15, 2018
New York City will host many of the world’s biggest reggaeton artists in two dope shows happening on the same night.
On Friday, June 8 at Madison Square Garden, Wisin Y Yandel will launch their long awaited reunion tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 16 at 11am. In September, the duo dropped the comeback single “Como Antes,” then announced a reunion in February. This New York City show is the only concert currently scheduled in the United States. The Puerto Rican reggaetoneros are performing live in the Dominican Republic on March 31. They also reunited on stage in June of last year in DR and at Yandel’s Orlando benefit concert last year.
But check it out, there is even more happening on June 8! In Brooklyn, this year’s Soulfrito Fest 2018jumps off at Barclays Center, featuring latin trap and reggaeton stars Bad Bunny, Bryant Myers and Amara La Negra along with hip hop notables like A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PNB Rock and Tekashi69. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 16 at 10am.
Last year’s Soulfrito Fest brought acts like Zion Y Lennox and Meek Mill together on stage, celebrating the boom of hip hop and trap music in both English and Spanish.
